Donate By Mail: For check or money order, please mail it to the Greater Carolinas Chapter, American Red Cross, P.O. Box 36507, Charlotte, NC 28236.
Donate Stock: Electronic delivery of stock shares is the most secure and expedient delivery process available and provides efficient internal control as well as cost savings. However, you may also transfer certificates directly. To help you facilitate a gift of stock, please use the following instructions.
First, initiate the transfer. You may either contact your broker to transfer the shares through Electronic Transfer using the Red Cross DTC number or physically mail the paper certificates to the Greater Carolinas Chapter at the address listed above. Either method is acceptable but you must contact your broker first to initiate the transfer.
The following will allow your broker to facilitate an electronic transfer of stock:

In addition to working with your broker to complete the physical transfer of stock, be sure to provide the Red Cross with information about how you would like your gift directed and to receive your gift receipt for audit and acknowledgement purposes. The donor or transferring broker must provide the following information:
- Donor's name and complete address
- Name and number of securities transferred
- Specific program to which gift should be directed, if any
To mail securities, mail unendorsed certificate(s) and stock power, in separate envelopes, by registered mail to the Greater Carolinas Chapter at the address listed above.

Donate In-Kind Products or Services: The Red Cross is unable to accept donations of items such as clothing, food or cleaning supplies. The cost to sort, package and distribute these types of donations to a disaster victims is greater than the cost of purchasing the items locally, and it is difficult to distribute a wide variety of individual items in a meaningful way. We recommend that you support your community by donating these items to an organization that is equipped to put them to the best possible use.
Often, products or services are offered to the Red Cross in exchange for sponsorship of various special events based on the needs of each event. If you would like to discuss event sponsorship or other specific in-kind donations of products & services, contact John Luebke at 704-347-8352.
