The Greater Carolinas Chapter relies on generous donations from our local community so that we can continue to provide the quality service to our community. The Red Cross is a non-governmental, non-profit agency that receives approximately 34% of its funding from the United Way. The remaining 66% comes from people like you!  No donation is too small or too large. Thank you for choosing to support your local Red Cross.

While all of our programs and services will benefit from your generous donation, you might consider designating your donation to a particular program or service that is of interest to you.

A donation of $25.00 supports a family whose loved one has been deployed by providing emergency communications assistance, VideoConnect technology, counseling services, and other supplemental financial assistance.

A donation of $30,000 provides a year's supply of snacks and beverages for donors who have just given blood at the Park Road Canteen Center. A donation of $150.00 will provide this service for one day.

A donation of $1,000 helps to meet the immediate needs (food, shelter, clothing, furniture) of those who have lost everything in their homes due to fire. A donation of $50.00 provides shelter for one night for a family of four.

A donation of $1,500 will purchase 3 child mannikins and 2 adult mannikins for use in teaching the life-saving skills of CPR. A donation of $38.00 will pay for one person to receive Adult CPR training.

A donation of $22,000 will purchase a station wagon or modified mini-van to assist local residents who are without transportation to necessary medical appointments. A donation of $40.00 will pay for one tank of gas.
