Volunteer Spotlight

Fred Coggins, who lives in Mooresville, has been a loyal driver for the Lake Norman Transportation Program for the past 18 months. He drives the dialysis carpool on Wednesdays and local residents who need medical transportation on Thursdays. Fred, a true Lake Norman native, is thoroughly versed on local history and enjoys sharing his knowlege with the clients. Fred is also a devoted Davidson College basketball fan who was presented his very own team sweatshirt by the women's team at the end of the season. Fred has a huge smile on his face these days as the Davidson men's team heads into the NCAA tournament.
