Wheels of Independence

The Greater Carolinas Chapter of the American Red Cross now hosts shopping and prescription trips from the Shamrock Senior Center to Wal-Mart.

When: Two shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays (from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 3:30 p.m. ** includes travel time **)
Where: From the Shamrock Senior Center at 3925 Willard Farrow Drive, Charlotte, to Wal-Mart Super Center at 1830 Galleria Blvd., Matthews
How Much: $5 round trip — snacks provided!
